JUNE 2026 HIGHLIGHTS

June was a month of recognition, industry engagement, and operational excellence across ABL Corporation. From international awards and strategic aircraft deliveries to global aviation events and continued investment in people, our companies reinforced their commitment to long-term growth and industry leadership.  

ABL Aviation Recognised for Excellence  

ABL Aviation received two prestigious accolades at the Aviation Achievement Awards 2026, held on 11 June in Dubai. The company was recognised as Aircraft Leasing Company of the Year and received the Aviation Finance Deal of the Year award for its transaction with Emirates. 
 
These achievements reflect the strength of ABL Aviation’s long-term partnerships, disciplined approach to aviation finance, and commitment to delivering innovative leasing solutions.  

Driving Conversations at IATA AGM 2026  

From 6 to 8 June, ABL Aviation participated in the IATA Annual General Meeting in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The event brought together aviation leaders to discuss trends shaping aviation, aircraft leasing, asset management, and aviation finance while strengthening industry relationships.  

Strengthening Strategic Partnerships  

During the IATA AGM, Founder and CEO Ali Ben Lmadani visited Embraer and Airbus Canada to meet leadership teams, review aircraft programme developments, and explore future collaboration opportunities.  

Engaging with the Helicopter Finance Community  

Stephen Orr, Senior Vice President Africa, represented ABL Aviation at Helicopter Investor London 2026, engaging with operators, financiers, OEMs, and investors on fleet strategy, asset management, and financing opportunities.  

Continuing a Trusted Partnership with Air France  

ABL Aviation delivered its 16th Airbus A220-300 to Air France under the ongoing eighteen-aircraft mandate, supporting the airline’s fleet renewal programme with next-generation efficiency.  

Recognising the People Behind the Success  

Carlos Garcia Merino and Naomi Mullins were nominated for the 2026 Airline Economics 40 Under 40 Awards, recognising their contributions to aviation finance and ABL Aviation’s global growth.  

Investing in Operational Excellence  

The ABL Industries team completed Human Factors Training, reinforcing communication, decision-making, safety culture, and operational excellence as part of its journey towards EASA and FAA Part-145 certification.
