Financial Accountant - Casablanca

We are looking for a commercially aware and detail-driven Financial Accountant to join our finance team.

This is not a transactional accounting role, the successful candidate will operate as a true finance partner to the business, owning the full accounting cycle while contributing actively to treasury management, financial reporting, cash flow oversight, and strategic financial operations. You will be a key player in maintaining the financial integrity of the organisation and supporting leadership with reliable, timely financial intelligence.

Employment Type: Full-time.

Qualification: Bac+5 | 4–5 Years Experience

Location: Casablanca

    • Lead monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

    • Manage budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing robust financial data and variance analysis to support business decisions

    • Produce cash flow reports and projections, monitoring liquidity and flagging risks proactively

    • Ensure all financial records are audit-ready at all times for both internal and external review

  • Treasury & Cash Management

    • Monitor and manage daily cash positions and bank account activity

    • Oversee foreign currency transactions and foreign card receipts, ensuring accurate classification, reconciliation, and reporting

    • Support treasury operations including payment runs, bank reconciliations, and liquidity planning

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable

    • Manage the full AP cycle — invoice verification, approval workflows, payment processing, and supplier record maintenance

    • Maintain organised digital and physical records in line with internal controls and regulatory requirements

  • Bac+5 in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a reputable institution (DSCG, Master CCA, or equivalent preferred)

  • 4–5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or financial services environment

  • Demonstrated experience across financial reporting, treasury, AP/AR, and cash flow management — not limited to transactional accounting

  • Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel essential)

  • Bilingual French–English — written and verbal (non-negotiable)

  • High standards of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential financial information

  • Familiarity with Moroccan accounting standards and local tax regulations

Beyond technical competence, we are looking for someone who thinks beyond the ledger, a finance professional who is proactive, commercially minded, and comfortable engaging with very senior stakeholders. You are organised under pressure, rigorous in your outputs, and bring a finance partner mindset to everything you do.
