ABL AVIATION AT IATA AGM 2026: STRENGTHENING RELATIONSHIPS ACROSS THE AVIATION INDUSTRY

ABL Corporation is pleased to share a summary of ABL Aviation’s participation at the IATA 82nd Annual General Meeting & World Air Transport Summit, held from 6 to 8 June 2026 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The event, hosted by LATAM Airlines Group and convened in the heart of South America’s largest aviation market, served as one of the premier global forums for senior leadership, industry partners, and government representatives to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities in commercial aviation.

Through its aviation subsidiary, ABL Aviation, ABL Corporation was represented at the AGM for the fifth consecutive year as a proud event sponsor, a milestone that reflects the group’s sustained commitment to active engagement at the highest level of the global aviation community.

Strategic Engagement at the AGM

The 2026 AGM brought into focus the complex and dynamic environment in which airlines and their partners are operating: geopolitical headwinds, fuel price volatility, constrained aircraft supply, and the ongoing imperative of financial resilience. Across sessions, the programme addressed fleet modernisation, capacity discipline, network planning, and the role of long-term commercial relationships in supporting airline stability.

The insights gained throughout the event reaffirm ABL Corporation’s strategic approach to aviation, an approach grounded in disciplined credit underwriting, long-term partnerships, and a global perspective on aircraft lifecycle management and structured finance.

Industry Visits: Embraer and Airbus Canada

The ABL Aviation leadership team also undertook two significant industry visits that underscored the group’s commitment to building enduring relationships across the aviation value chain.

At the Embraer facilities in Rio de Janeiro, Founder & CEO Ali Ben Lmadani and his team were hosted by Francisco Gomes Neto, President and CEO of Embraer, at the E2 Assembly plant. The visit provided an in-depth look at Embraer’s production operations and served as a platform for broader dialogue on opportunities across the global aviation ecosystem.

The team subsequently visited Airbus Canada, where discussions focused on the A220 delivery progress, production performance, and delivery schedules. The engagement reinforced the group’s active interest in fleet renewal trends and its relationships with leading OEMs shaping the next generation of narrowbody aviation.

Looking Ahead

ABL Corporation views the IATA AGM as one of the defining moments of the aviation calendar, a space where strategies are tested, relationships are deepened, and the long-term direction of the industry takes shape. The connections and perspectives gained in Rio de Janeiro will continue to guide the group’s approach to investment, asset management, and partnership developments in the months ahead.
