ABL Corporation is an independent and privately-owned group focused on aviation, maritime and real estate. The group is wholly-owned by family, operating from six offices worldwide in Dublin, Hong Kong, Tokyo, New York, Dubai and Casablanca.

The Head of Finance will play a critical role in leading ABL's financial operations in Morocco, ensuring accurate reporting, disciplined financial controls, and seamless delivery of key accounting processes.

  • Lead the financial strategy and planning for the Casablanca office.

  • Collaborate closely with the Group Financial Controller to drive ABL Group-wide alignment, liquidity management, and cashflow forecasting.

  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with local accounting standards. Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes ensuring reporting deadlines are consistently met.

  • Supervise core finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow reporting, payroll, and intercompany processes. Drive operational improvements that enhance cash collection, payment controls, and working capital management.

  • Oversee monthly management accounts and finance KPI performance reporting.

  • Lead tax compliance activities, ensuring filings (corporate tax, payroll taxes, etc.) are completed on time and in full compliance with Moroccan tax laws.

  • Drive continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, and organisational structure to increase efficiency, transparency, and control.

  • Drive financial performance through strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

  • Support strategic initiatives including new start-ups, acquisitions and market entry initiatives.

  • Establish and maintain robust internal control frameworks. Strengthen governance processes across finance, ensuring consistency across ABL Group entities.

  • Oversee the payroll process for the Casablanca office.

  • Professionally qualified (CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).

  • Qualified Accountant with 10+ years of hands-on experience in accounting or financial reporting.

  • Commercial mindset with the confidence to engage directly with lenders and third parties.

  • Proven senior leadership experience in Commercial Finance within a corporate organisation.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong capability with accounting/ERP systems.

  • Exceptional numeracy skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues, interpret financial trends, and present clear recommendations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Highly organised with strong time-management skills; able to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work under pressure, often with tight timescales.

  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic, team environment.
